چکیده
A primeira edição do Guidelines for Scientific Integrity foi ofertada a comunidade científica em 1996. A grande demanda pelos exemplares publicados levou o Scientific Integrity Committee of the Midwest Nursing Research Society a publicar esta segunda edição revista e ampliada. A importância do tema e pertinência das observações contidas neste guia nos levou a divulga-lo através desta resenha. Esta publicação foi elaborada por uma Comissão da Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS), uma sociedade norte americana de enfermeiras, preocupada em responder às inúmeras dúvidas e confusões que pairam sobre questões como autoria, direitos dos participantes da pesquisa, guarda de dados, publicação, entre outras. Esta resenha pretende sintetizar e divulgar as principais idéias e sugerir que as associações de enfermagem brasileiras criem comissões para desenvolver trabalho semelhante.
